The King Suite provided an impressive level of space and comfort for a solo traveler. The warm atmosphere and elegant decor throughout the hotel made my stay genuinely enjoyable, offering a cozy vibe that countered the typical business trip environment.
Upon arrival, I found that the restaurant was closed, coupled with the bar shutting down at 8 PM—definitely not ideal for someone traveling solo. The lack of dining options left me confined to my room, and the noise from the bar's trash area and the building's ventilation system during nighttime was bothersome.

Quiet and Comfortable Stay for Solo Travelers
The King Suite offered a spacious retreat, perfect for a solo traveler. I was disappointed to find the restaurant closed upon arrival. An early notice would have been appreciated. To future guests, ensure to check dining options ahead and prepare for a quiet evening.

great access to nature and charming attractions nearby
I loved exploring the beautiful Frensham Great Pond and Common, which is just about 4 km away, perfect for a peaceful stroll, and it’s also a short drive to Birdworld, where I enjoyed a lovely day out surrounded by nature. however, the hotel could improve by providing clearer information about the dining options.

I stayed for one night in a King Room with my family and found the experience quite good. The staff stood out—friendly and helpful, they made a great effort to accommodate our requests. We had three rooms, and they allowed us some extra time in two of them at checkout, which was appreciated. Breakfast was a highlight with good options, and the staff even catered to specific requests like adding fruit to our porridge. The hotel felt warm and cozy overall. two of the rooms felt small due to the loft design, with low ceilings in places. Although they were fine for a short stay, it was something to note. I felt the extra charge for setting up a sofa bed for a toddler was a bit excessive.

The staff were friendly and made my stay comfortable. I enjoyed the evening menu, which added a nice touch to the experience. The fitness centre provided a good opportunity to stay active during my visit. As a single traveler, I appreciated the clean room and the flat-screen TV for some evening entertainment.
The restaurant was closed during my stay. The bar also closed early, leaving limited options for the evening.
